The Best Free Fonts

The Best Free Fonts:
Being a bit of a fontaholic I stumbled on these lovely websites which have some absolutely beautiful fonts to download for free. I have gone a bit mad and downloaded oddles.

I must apologise for not writing anything for a while on the blog as I have had some problems with my hands, these however have now been treated and are working again. So a big thank you to my Doc and medical science. I will eventually have to get them operated on but fingers crossed the injections will keep me going until I get a date with the surgeon.

I hope you are all having a wonderful time decorating your homes, buying Christmas presents and planning Christmas delights for Christmas day to drink and eat. On my bucket list I have a wish to one day have a Christmas in a lovely Winter destination with snow, log fires, smells of pine needles and holly and the aromatics of hanging brandy soaked plum pudding and a delicious roast lunch or dinner wafting from the kitchen. The home would be filled with my dear friends and family and there would a snow man in the garden with a carrot for a nose LOL. Now that would be a tiny bit of bliss. In Australia where Christmas is hot, hot, hot a BBQ seems to be the rule of thumb and it just feels like another day.

I hope you check out the website the fonts are great.

Hugs and Cheers Julz

Scary fonts

Scary fonts: As you may or may not know I am a bit of a Font Freak and I love interesting, creative and artistic fonts. Here is a wonderful site for some great Circus Style fonts, Calligraphy, Graffiti, Handwritten, 3D, Esoteric, Retro and many, many more great Font Styles that you will absolutely adore. Check it out. I have and it is a great site and even better all the fonts are free. These are just a few of the beautiful fonts that I downloaded from this great website. The names are what the font is typed in.

Enjoy. Cheers Julz

P.S.
With the Guardian Expanded I played around and filled it with one of my patterns. You can do that with any font depending on the application you are using for creating digital art. The bigger the body of the font the greater some of the effects that you can get.

Fonts Are Art

Hi,
Just thought I would do a blog on fonts and sites that offer free fonts. I take my hat off to the brilliant people that put time and effort into creating these font's that they often give away free. I think fonts can be a work of Art, you may or may not agree but this is what makes us all unique individuals. Check out the link http://www.dailyfreefonts.com/fonts/alphabet/ which has a huge number of fonts for free, just download the zip file and unzip in the download folder then open the folder and right click if you your system is running windows and in the menu select install and there you have it in your font folder. Not sure what you need to do for Mac but I am sure that there are instructions that will be able to help you. Check out The Kings and Queens, Advocado, Music Man and Aprendizcalifico to name but a few.

Cheers Julz
